We believe the natural world is not only the best classroom, but also the richest environment for children to learn, naturally!
Connection with nature is a crucial part of development. Now, more than ever we need young leaders who have meaningful relationships with our Earth.
We aim to provide the perfect space for that relationship to flourish.

By 2025 our main goal is to acquire a property to exercise our mission and serve as a community hub, connecting and educating children through a rich and natural environment.
We will host day programs for children as well as nature workshops and events for families.
We plan to provide a community garden, nature-based playground, indoor education space, and many volunteer opportunities.
Our ideal property will be at least 5 acres of land in the lower peninsula of Michigan, with a natural water source, mature trees and be lawfully zoned for us to incorporate some rescue animals into our programs.
Our possibilities are endless!

Wildschool of Michigan Inc. is an educational non-profit founded by Bailey Karoub in July of 2023.
With an educational background in biology and child development, Bailey spent her higher education at Adrian College obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology.
She has worked with children in a variety of settings including public school classrooms, Montessori classrooms, in-home and clinical settings as a behavioral therapist, daycare programs and as a private family nanny. Most notably, also serving as the Children's Program Director at the Catherine Cobb Safe House, a DV/SA shelter for women and children.
Her observation of the rich, child-led learning that takes place when walls are removed is what ultimately motivated her to create Wildschool of Michigan, and to get children and families back to their roots- and immersed outdoors!
100% of donations go directly to acquiring the foundation and physical location for Wildschool of Michigan.
